It’s the universal truth. It affects each and every one of us.
The people we meet, the experiences we have, the lives we lead – everything is governed by
it.
Whether we choose to believe in it or not is immaterial. The
fact is, it exists. And we need to watch out.
An insightful article on Karma which I read in a magazine. Read
on,
Karma is God's way of showing that He sees everything
and that there are consequences for everything you do; good or bad.
Karma influences every part of our life. We all know
about The Golden Rule: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto
you" and also, "What goes around comes around." That’s
karma in a nutshell. If we’ve done someone wrong—even to ourselves—karma
will force us to pay the price until we clear our dues. It’s that simple.
Everything is meant to teach us something, even the hard
times. The key is, learning those lessons. Karma isn't meant to
punish, just to retain balance. It's meant to help you become a better
person in all areas.
It won’t go away on its own, no matter how much
you hope, wish, or pray for it to.
There is, in fact, no such thing as an accident. Everything
that happens to us happens by the cause and effect and not by chance. Karma is
educational, and thus to "clear" or discharge it you need to learn
the spiritual lesson that it contains.
All the Universe requires of you is understanding, so you know not to
do it again.
Regardless of our past karma, the spiritually scientific
process of devotional service is the best path to happiness in this life and
the next.
